Wilderness Cabins
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness sleeps up to six adults and includes a queen bed, a queen-size pull-down bed, and a bunk bed. Each cabin features a kitchen with a full-size oven/range, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Each cabin has a 65" flat-screen TV, 55' flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a laptop-sized safe, an iron & ironing board, a hairdryer and a coffee maker. Each cabin includes a patio.
Dining at the Resort
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort provides mobile order and food from The Chuck Wagon food truck. The resort shares amenities, including dining, with Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Guests can select pre-selected grocery items like fresh produce, pasta, deli meats, coffee, frozen foods, desserts and snacks.
Leisure and Entertainment
Guests can use the Meadow Swimmin' Pool, featuring a corkscrew waterslide and whirlpool spa. The water play area with slides is fort-themed. Another option is Wilderness Swimmin' Pool with its whirlpool spa. Guests can watch complimentary screenings of Disney films at Meadow Recreation Area's outdoor theater. A sand volleyball court is available in the Meadow Recreation Area. Guests can also play basketball on the courts; if basketballs are unavailable, Housekeeping will deliver one. As part of the phased reopening of the Resort, guests can enjoy select experiences and amenities. The Electrical Water Pageant is visible from the Resort hotel's viewing place.
Location and Transport
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness is within the Magic Kingdom Resort Area at Walt Disney World. It is 40 km from Orlando International. Guests can take a 10-minute boat ride to the Magic Kingdom park from the lakeside dock. Disney bus transportation is available from the cabins and campsites to the Settlement and Meadow Recreation Area. The Outpost Depot offers complimentary bus transportation to theme parks, water parks, Resort hotels and the Disney Springs area. Minnie Van service Connected by Lyft is available for travel within Walt Disney World Resort. Parking is complimentary for overnight guests and day guests enjoying select amenities. The resort is near Disney's Osprey Ridge Golf Course (1 km), Disney's Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza (2 km), and Magic Kingdom Park (2 km).
Services and Amenities
Luggage assistance is available to bring bags from the Wilderness Cabin to Reception Outpost. Self-service laundry rooms are located at Comfort Stations. Guests can send mail from the Front Desk and buy stamps at Meadow and Settlement Trading Posts. Best Friends Pet Care provides day care and other pet services. Guests can have merchandise delivered to their Disney Resort hotel. Guests can arrange for in-room surprises such as floral arrangements and gift baskets. Guests can rent golf carts at Reception Outpost or bring their own. Licensed vehicles, recreational vehicles, and electric mobility devices are authorized.
