Captiva Beach Resort features 19 guest rooms and suites, ranging from studios to two-bedroom suites. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, individually controlled air conditioning and heat, separate baths with bath amenities, a color television with cable service, a private telephone line, and BBQ grills. Studios feature a queen or king bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a kitchenette with a two-top burner, microwave, refrigerator, and a sink. One handicapped room includes bathrooms with at least 60-inch turnaround space for wheelchairs, and two twin beds with 30-inch clear space between them. The Palm Suite is a one-bedroom suite with a queen bed, separate living room with a queen sleeper sofa, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a full kitchen with a stovetop oven, microwave, refrigerator, and a sink with a dishwasher. The Siesta Key Suite features a king bed, separate living room with a full-size sleeper sofa, and two bathrooms with walk-in showers. The Paradise Suite has a king bed in one bedroom and a queen bed in the other, a separate living room with a queen sleeper sofa, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a full kitchen with a stovetop oven, microwave, refrigerator, and a sink with a dishwasher.

Captiva Beach Resort is located in Siesta Key, off the coast of Sarasota, Florida. The resort is a 2-minute walk from a private beach on Crescent Beach and 16 km from Sarasota Jungle Gardens. It is also near downtown Sarasota, St Armand's Circle, and Venice Main Street. St Armand's Circle is located half a mile from the hotel, and the area offers restaurants, art museums, performing arts, and shopping.

The resort is near several beaches, including Crescent Beach, Turtle Beach, and Siesta Beach. Turtle Beach is located at the southernmost end of Siesta Key. Brohard Beach and Paw Park, where dogs can be off-leash, is also in the area, including a wetland for fishing and bird watching. Venice Beach features a coral reef 1/4 mile offshore.

Captiva Beach Resort includes a 20x40 foot heated swimming pool. Weber BBQ grills, ping pong, cornhole, shuffleboard, and bocce ball are also available. The resort also provides coin-operated laundry, an ice machine, parking, beach towels, and Wi-Fi. Parking is complimentary for one vehicle per room.
