Douglas House provides queen rooms equipped with private bathrooms, color TV, mini-refrigerator, microwave, and air-conditioning. Suites offer garden and pool views from private porches or balconies, with options including full kitchens or kitchenettes. Bamboo Palm units feature a wet bar with a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, along with a private bathroom with an oversized tiled shower and flat-screen LCD TV. The Christmas Palm suite, a second-floor loft, includes two queen beds and a large private balcony overlooking the lily pond and tropical gardens, accessible via a ship-style ladder to the lofted bed. Some suites, such as the Palmetto Palm, include two queen-size beds in the bedroom, a full-size refrigerator in the kitchen, and a balcony overlooking Old Town street. Select suites offer a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room.
Dining at Douglas House
Guests can enjoy a special selection of wine, champagne, soda, and water from the wine & spirits list. All beverages are available at the front desk from 9 AM to 9 PM. A selection of red wines such as Trefethen Merlot (Napa, $54) and Gary Farrell Pinot Noir (Russian River, $45) are available. White wine options include Gary Farrell Chardonnay (Russian River Valley, $35) and Ferrari-Carano Fume Blanc (Sonoma, $17). Douglas House features a tropical garden and sun terraces, providing Florida scenery. Recreational activities include swimming in nearby beaches, sailing, wave runners, jet skiing, fishing, parasailing, scuba diving, and kayaking. Additional options include an 18-hole golf course, walking and bicycle tours, and a local ghost tour. The staff can arrange recreational activities upon request.

Located just off Duval Street in Historic Old Town Key West, the Douglas House is near the Ernest Hemingway House and the Southernmost Point Monument. The inn is in walking distance to Sunset Pier at Mallory Square, restaurants, bars, and retail stores. La Casa De Luces, part of the Douglas House, is located 50 feet off Duval Street, directly across from the Douglas House. The southernmost point of the United States is a 5-minute walk.
