Leisure Activities
Guests can rent boats, including the Seafox 226, 22ft Starcraft Deckboat with a 200 HP Yamaha Motor, and 22ft Sun Chaser Pontoon. Half-day rentals are available outside scallop season from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM for $125.00 plus fuel and tax. Full-day rentals are $400.00 plus fuel and taxes for the Seafox 226, and $350.00 plus tax and fuel for the Starcraft Deckboat.
Location and Scalloping
Good Times Motel and Marina is located on the Steinhatchee River in Steinhatchee, Florida, near Steinhatchee Falls (3 km). Harvesting scallops occurs about 2-3 miles from shore where eelgrass is present. The bag limit is 2 gallons of whole scallops or 1 pint of scallop meat per person per day, with a vessel limit of 10 gallons of whole scallops or Â1/2 gallon of scallop meat. A dive flag is required within 300 feet of swimmers.
