PENNY FARTHING INN, St. Augustine

The Penny Farthing Inn provides rooms with unique features. The Cambridge, on the first floor, includes high ceilings, stained glass windows, and an antique headboard. The Buckingham is a quiet hideaway. The Victoria Bedchamber, located in the front of the inn, has access to the second-floor balcony. Penny's Attic, on the third floor, features a walk-in tiled shower, a two-person whirlpool tub, a king bed, an expanded living area, and a sundeck/balcony with views of Flagler College and the Lightner Museum. The Elizabeth Bedchamber, on the second floor, offers a queen bed, a stand-up shower, and a private balcony. The Windsor, on the first floor, includes a king bed, a large enclosed stand-up shower, and a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The Catherine Bedchamber, on the second floor, features a king bed, a two-person Jacuzzi tub, a private entrance, and a covered balcony with a swing. The Treehouse includes a combination bathtub and shower, a sitting nook with a fireplace and stained glass windows, and a private staircase with a balcony. The York has a queen bed and a whirlpool bathtub with shower. Rooms include TV/cable/DVD, ice-machine, games, hair dryer and complimentary wireless internet.

Guests can enjoy a gourmet breakfast served in the main dining room or outdoors on the porch. Breakfast includes coffee, orange juice, eggs benedict, sausage/cheese or vegetarian quiches, ham and cheese croissants, and raspberry French toast served with bacon. Nearby dining options include Columbia Restaurant, which serves Spanish/Cuban cuisine, and Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille, which serves seafood, chicken, beef, pork, burgers, po' boys, and salads.

Penny Farthing Inn is located in the heart of the downtown historic district, steps from the bay front and near attractions. It is located next to the Lightner Museum and across the street from Flagler College. Landmarks nearby include Colonial Quarter (1 km), Memorial Presbyterian Church (0.5 km), Castillo de San Marcos (1 km), Cathedral Basilica of St Augustine (0.5 km), and Ripley's Believe It or Not (1 km).

The Penny Farthing Inn offers on-site parking for one vehicle per room; smaller vehicles are preferred. Bike/scooter/Segway rentals are available for exploring the city. The Inn is a non-smoking establishment, with smoking allowed only in the driveway. Check-in is from 3 PM to 6 PM; late arrivals without notification incur a fee of $15.00 per hour. A $35 charge applies for each additional guest in rooms with double occupancy; Penny's Attic accommodates a maximum of three people. Note: Wheelchair accessibility via ramps is not available due to the historic nature of the building.
