There are also cottages with King Beds in each bedroom, two full baths, a half bath on the main level, a full kitchen with a dishwasher, central air, a Jacuzzi in the master suite, and a private driveway with a private covered carport. Guests can access local cuisine at one of the twenty restaurants less than a mile from Pines & Palms. The resort boasts a poolside Tiki Bar, serving craft beer and colorful mixed drinks. The bar offers an expansive wine and beer selection for enjoying there or for room delivery. The wine list includes Barefoot (Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon), Grandial Blanc de Blanc Brut, Piper Heidsieck Champagne, Matua Sauvignon Blanc, and Long Meadow Ranch Sauvignon Blanc. Location and Access
Pines and Palms is at mile-marker 80.4 on the ocean side. Watch for small green mile-marker signs just south of Florida City. It allows for easy access to four bodies of water, including Everglades National Park, Florida Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic Ocean. It's located near the Theater of the Sea, a marine mammal park, and Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park, where visitors can walk along eight-foot-high quarry walls to see cross sections of ancient coral. Landmarks nearby include the Lobster Trap Art Gift Shop and Gallery (3 km), Upper Matecumbe Key (2 km), and the Indian Key State Historic Site (1 km). Guests can walk to the finest Islamorada restaurants.
Resort Services
Pines & Palms Resort is committed to providing outstanding service and personal attention to any and all guests. The resort features boat and trailer storage. All boat slips will be assigned prior to arrival according to the size of all boats arriving for the day. The property's onsite boat slips can accommodate skiffs up to 25 feet in length. Each guest will be given one parking pass per unit at check-in. Feedback is welcome on the accessibility. Normal response time is 1-2 business days. There are smoking areas outside of the building.
