Portofino Island Resort offers two- and three-bedroom condos with Gulf or Santa Rosa Sound views from every room except the bathroom. Each condo includes a balcony, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a seating area with a sofa, a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a private bathroom with a hot tub and a hairdryer. Certain units have terrace patios, while penthouse units offer additional overhead space. Each unit is equipped with ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, a dressing area, a dining table, a patio, and garden furniture.

Coastal offers dining featuring seafood and land fare. Al Fresco provides open-air dining with fresh selections. Pizza Portofino serves oven-baked pizzas. The Smoothie Bar, located in the Lifestyle Center, provides snacks and smoothies. Starbucks Coffee is also available in the Market inside the Lifestyle Center. Cobalt Bar provides drinks and fare on the pool deck.

The resort has recreation activities including sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, boogie boarding, and surfing. Five tennis courts and golf are available. Onsite, find fitness classes, a running club, and personal training. There are excursions, a spa, and a lifestyle center. Spa Portofino offers massages, body treatments, manicures, and pedicures. The Spa and Fitness Center is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. The Lifestyle Center pool is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the Tower pools are open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Portofino Island Resort is 30 km from Pensacola International Airport. The resort is near Pensacola Dog Beach (1 km), Pensacola Beach Park East Snorkeling Reefs (3 km), and Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier (6 km). Tram service is available throughout the resort. A catamaran provides cruises to the Boardwalk for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Bicycles and Scoot Coupes can be rented to explore the island.
