Siesta Key Palms Resort has 27 units, from standard rooms to one-bedroom villas. All rooms include a kitchenette with a stove, oven, and kitchen supplies. Each room also has pull-out sofa beds, flat-screen TVs, safes, cable channels, upgraded "quite air units", and free amplified WiFi. Queen-size beds are included in every room. Courtyard Studios have a private outdoor patio with a fountain. Gran Studios have a cooktop. Villas include a queen bed, queen sleeper sofa, stove/oven, wet bar, Kuerig, mini-fridge, microwave, utensils, flatscreen TV, WIFI, patio seating, and garden view. Bathrooms feature both rain and wall showers, in-wall dispensers for hair and body products, and hair dryers. ADA rooms feature bathrooms with at least 60-inch turnaround space for wheelchairs, a roll-in shower with 3 grab bars, extra-wide doors, and lowered amenities.

The property has fire pits, hammocks, coin-operated guest laundry, complimentary bicycle rentals, complimentary beach chairs, and a game patio. Movie nights are offered.

Siesta Key Palms Resort is off the south end of Siesta Key, a short walk over the bridge to Siesta Key Beach. It is 6 miles from downtown Sarasota. The hotel is half a mile from St Armand's Circle. Turtle Beach is at the southernmost end of Siesta Key. Sarasota Bradenton International Airport is 20 km from the resort, a 20-minute ride.
