The Steinhatchee River Inn features suites with a sitting area, a private bathroom, and a shared terrace facing the swimming pool and Steinhatchee River. All suites include a microwave, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker, Wi-Fi, and cable TV. Kitchen suites provide a full-size refrigerator and freezer, a stovetop and oven, a kitchen sink, pots, skillets, plates, cups, and utensils. Deluxe Kitchen Suites with 2 Double Beds have bedding with a country quilt. Marina Rooms are located in the one-story building with one parking space per unit. Kathi's, located three blocks from the River Inn, features soft shell crab, seafood boils, and fresh fish. Vargos, located four blocks from the River Inn, offers pizza, salads, and calzones overlooking the water. Weekends enjoy an all you can eat buffet offering Prime Rib, Crab legs and Shrimp.

The Steinhatchee River Inn has a swimming pool, a picnic area, and a fire pit. Scenic River Tours of the Steinhatchee River are hosted by a USCG Captain for viewing manatees, hawks, and alligators. Kayak rentals are available at River Haven Marina, including drop off at the Falls. Jena Park, located on Highway 358, has play equipment, a basketball court, a tennis court, a picnic pavilion, and restrooms. Steinhatchee Falls features wagon ruts visible in the limestone on both sides of the river. The Big Bend Saltwater Paddling Trail offers an array of bird and marine life.

The Steinhatchee River Inn is located in Steinhatchee, where the river flows into the Gulf of Mexico. The hotel is near the Steinhatchee Falls (1 km). The Road to Nowhere is one of the best spots to watch the sunset and photograph wild life. The Shired Island Boat Ramp & Trail provides access to the Gulf and shoreline fishing. Hagen's Cove is a 15-minute drive up the coast. Local boat ramps include the Steinhatchee launch on Hwy 51 and the Jena launch at the end of Hwy 358. The Steinhatchee Community Playground is within walking distance.
