The former painter's studio features a romantic carved wood 4-poster king bed, original Dade County pine floors, a TV, and an en-suite bath. The elegant room, originally the parlor, features a king size 4-poster bed, polished wood floors, a sofa in the seating area, a Smart TV, and an en-suite bath. The library room includes a queen bed, a dresser on polished original wood floors, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom that provides access to a private balcony with a table and chairs. A second-floor room features a queen bed and matching dresser, a built-in armoire, a TV, and polished Dade County pine floors. The en-suite bathroom gives access to a small private deck overlooking the garden. The treetop escape features a queen bed, a mini-fridge, a private bath, and a Smart TV. This room overlooks the garden and rooftops of Old Town, and is accessed via its own private stairs. It offers a private bath with a glass shower and a vintage/glam style. All rooms include an In-Room Keurig, In-Room Tea Forte Teas, a mini-fridge, a personal remote-controlled mini-split A/C unit, an in-room safe, and flatscreen TVs.
Dining at Artist House
Breakfast is served from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the Orchid Garden Courtyard, which features private tables, or on any of the public balconies. Breakfast includes items such as Cuban breakfast sandwiches, Quiche, gourmet breakfast tacos, pancakes, and bacon. Consistent options such as hot and cold cereals, fresh chopped fruit salad, breads/bagels, pastry variety, cheeses, and organic yogurts are available. An assortment of breakfast teas, coffees, milk, fruit juice, V8, and freshly squeezed Florida orange juice, as well as mimosas are available every morning. Dietary needs can be accommodated upon request (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.). Examples of breakfast include biscuits and sausage with gravy, hash browns, bacon, and cheesy scrambled eggs; pancake, sausage, bacon & home fry potatoes with scrambled eggs; and Cuban breakfast sandwiches on Cuban bread with sausage, quiche, and potato patties.
