Rooms at Wakulla
The Lodge at Wakulla Springs has 27 rooms overlooking one of the country's largest springs. Rooms feature air conditioning, a dressing room, and a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Rooms on the upper floors are accessible by lift. Room options include double rooms with one bed, double rooms with two beds, and quadruple rooms with two beds. Suites include a living room, a separate bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, tiled floors, and heating.
Dining Onsite
The Edward Ball restaurant, ice cream parlor and gift shop are open Monday through Friday, as well as Saturday and Sunday. A buffet features menu items such as lamb chop with mint demi glaze, scalloped potatoes, and coconut cake. The classic counter features the longest marble soda fountain ever built, serving ice cream treats, hot dogs, chili, sandwiches and chips. The Lodge hosts a Valentine's Day Dinner from February 10 through February 14 starting at 5pm.
Leisure Activities
Guests can be part of a ranger-led program that unveils the craftsmanship, materials, and lore of the lodge nestled in a forest of live oak, hickory, cypress, magnolia, and pine. Evening cruises during the holiday season are offered on the Wakulla River, followed by a dinner buffet in the Lodge. St Marks Wildlife refuge is 14 miles from the Lodge. Guests can observe Monarch butterflies migrating across the Gulf of Mexico to Mexico for the winter. Guides offer information about the environment, wildlife, and history of the springs. The last tour of the day during Eastern Standard Time departs at 4:30 p.m.
