“The historic architecture recalls Florida's 'land boom' era, while the still-functioning Art Deco elevator adds a unique touch; the on-site soda fountain and themed events also stand out. Proximity to the St. Marks Wildlife Refuge complements a retreat into nature, with hiking trails and abundant wildlife viewing. It's a destination best suited for those wanting a glimpse into old Florida.”
