Tropical Resort & Marina, on Lake Beresford and connected to the St Johns River, provides apartment-style rooms with kitchens. Each room includes air conditioning, a private entrance, a bathroom with a bath and a shower, a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware, an oven, and barbecue facilities. Rooms feature a seating area, a dining area, and a patio. All rooms have lake views and patio seating.
Onsite activities
Guests can use the solar-heated pool area, lounge chairs, covered veranda, basketball court, and shuffleboard court. Boat rentals are available on demand. Other activities include cornhole and waterfront views. The resort offers monthly boat slip rentals, including covered boat slips for $150 per month (plus $10 per foot over 20 feet, including 110V electric) and floating boat slips for $300 per month (plus electric). Daily boat slips are available up to 20 feet for $20 per day.
Event Space
The Lake House event space features a full kitchen and a bathroom. It has sliding glass doors that open to a wraparound porch. The Lake House can accommodate up to 65 guests. It is suitable for showers, receptions, reunions, meetings, luncheons, and weddings. The pool deck can be used for post-ceremony cocktail hours.
